Youth Ministry

At St Martin's we take ministry to young people very seriously. We have several programs running, catering for different age groups:

  • Children's Church
    Every Sunday morning there is a program from preschool to grade 7. The young children meet independently from the older grades, and dedicated teachers and assistants ensure that the children are well looked after, and spiritually nourished.


  • KidZone
    During our evenign family worsip service (6pm in the hall) there is a full children's programme for all ages, and parents and teenagers help the young people grow in their faith.

  • Encounter
    Encounter is our friday evening program for teenagers. We meet together from 7:30 - 9:30pm to discuss relevant and interesting matters, whilst growing in our faith in Jesus. We also have occasional social events to build community and fellowship.

  • Cross Over
    On friday evenings, grade 4-7's from different schools in Jozi meet together for fun, fellowship, food, and to grow in their relationship with God. We meet from 5:30-7pm every friday evening during term time.

  • 20's / Young Adults
    We have a very vibrant group of young adults who meet regulary for coffee, food, movies, ice-skating, concerts, etc! We have several cell groups that meet around JHB every week. More regular updates join our Facebook group called Get Real Community.

  • Schools Ministry
    St Martin's is actively involved in some of our local schools, buildinging and encouraging links between the chuch and the school communities. The primary schools that we are involved with are Kingsmead College, Priwin Preparatory School, and Vuleka.
