Music at St Martin's

Music has always played a very central role in the life and ministry of St Martins. Ranging from world class concerts, to committed worship teams. Below is a brief description of the musical activities within the life of the church.

Choir
St Martin’s has a strong choral tradition, and is the only parish in Johannesburg to have Evensong every Sunday. The present organist and choirmaster, James Gordon, has sung at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, and King’s College, Cambridge, as well as conducting choirs in Kenya and South Africa. For more information on the choir and this week's music, click here.

In connection with Vuleka School, we also have a junoir choir which began in 2007, and performs at schools and functions around Jo'burg.
